Abstract: |
Lactobacillus raminsus has been used in the treatment of various cancers and since Lactobacillus raminsus can survive and multiply in stomach acid, this can be of great help to the medical and laboratory community of the country. In this research, the anticancer effect of Lactobacillus raminsus on MAGS gastric cancer cells was investigated. In this research, MAGS gastric cancer cells were purchased from the Pasteur National Center. Investigating the effect of Lactobacillus rhamnosus on cells, in one milliliter of culture medium, cell counting was done. Cytotoxicity was done by MTT method. The amount of gene expression (APC) was used by Real-Time PCR technique. The results showed that the expression level of APC gene in kyse-30 cell line increased compared to the control group and it was statistically significant. Our findings show that Lactobacillus ramensus stimulates stomach cancer cells and probably has the potential to be used as a new therapeutic strategy or adjuvant therapy for stomach cancer treatment.
